Dr. Thayer Banwart was born and raised in Kansas where he graduated from Fort Scott
Christian Heights in 2007 before attending the local community college and then Pittsburg State University. He then transferred to Chesterfield Missouri to attend Logan College of Chiropractic where he received his Bachelors in Human Biology as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2015. While attending Logan, Dr. Thayer was involved in multiple organizations and clubs including Logan Sports Council and volunteered at several special need clinics in downtown Saint Louis.

Following graduation, Dr. Thayer moved to the Kansas City area where he opened his
own practice in southern Kansas City. Dr. Thayer currently owns and operates multiple clinics in the Kansas City area and is also the team chiropractor for Christ Preparatory Academy’s football team. Dr. Thayer is excited to join the Spinal Rehabilitation Center team and use his skills to serve the Kansas City Metro area.

Dr. Thayer specializes in several adjusting techniques and utilizes state of the art Class
IV Laser treatments into many of his treatment plans. He also has advanced training in soft tissue techniques as well as extremity adjusting. His passion is working with athletes and special needs patients. He enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as weightlifting, running, hiking, football, basketball, golf, cooking, woodworking, and guitar.
